Minoxidil: what to know
Topical minoxidil is used for pattern hair loss. It may help slow loss and support regrowth, but results vary and continued use is needed to maintain benefits. It can irritate the scalp. Ask a clinician whether it fits the cause of your hair loss and your circumstances. People who are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding should avoid minoxidil. This is general information, not a personal regimen. Medication is not available through this preview.

Oral finasteride is a prescription medicine approved for male pattern hair loss in men. It can slow hair loss and may support regrowth, but it does not work for everyone. Potential risks include sexual side effects and depression. It must not be used during pregnancy. People who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not handle crushed or broken finasteride tablets. Discuss suitability, ongoing use and risks with a licensed clinician. No topical finasteride formulation is FDA approved. Medication is not available through this preview.

What is About Time?
About Time is building a hair-loss treatment membership: licensed clinician review, medication delivery when appropriate, and ongoing support. Join treatment early access now, and try the private photo, routine and question tools while treatment services are being set up.
Can I get medication through About Time?
Medication is central to the membership, but this preview does not accept treatment orders. At launch, a licensed clinician will decide whether treatment is appropriate before any prescription is issued, and a licensed pharmacy will dispense it. Joining early access does not guarantee a prescription.
Who is it for?
US adults of every gender who want a clearer starting point for concerns about thinning, shedding, their hairline or density. You do not need to know the cause before organizing your questions. Future treatment eligibility will depend on clinical review and service availability in your state.
What does it cost?
We are testing a proposed $29 monthly treatment membership. Final pricing and included medication options will be confirmed before ordering. Joining early access is free, requires no card and does not create a paid subscription.
Can I take my information with me?
Yes. Download your journal, download individual photos, or print your consultation summary. Delete individual entries in their journal sections, or your entire account from Settings.
